We make an effort to talk about breakthroughs in the field of technology and digital solutions first.
It is in this understanding I wish to articulate the requirements and measures that every one of our regular and guest authors needs to fulfill. These requirements and measures serve the purpose of ensuring that every article passed by our editors is relevant and of valuable information to our audience.
1. Copy Guidelines
- Commitment to Authenticity: Your work must be original. An occasional quote or a definition of some sort may be used when properly referenced.
- Focused Topics: Articles on technology, gadget reviews, software reviews, technology guides, and even troubleshooting are most welcome. Other topics may not be accepted.
- Editorial Authority: Your text may be edited by us for potential issues on style, clarity, and how it fits our sites guidelines.
- Thorough Research Required: Your article must be well informed and contain current information on the topic.
- Article Length and Formatting: Articles submitted can range between 1,000 – 2,000 words. The content must have a structure therefore, clearly marked headings and subheadings h2, h3, and h4 are necessary.
2. Links And Promotions
- Author Credit and Linking: Each contribution will be duly rewarded. One do-follow link will be integrated in the main body while up to one no-follow link will be placed in the author’s brand or product pages.
- Restrictions on Links: Please do not include any overly promotional material or affiliate links in your submissions as they will be eliminated.
- Citing Sources: Any article that contains graphical data must include links to exact webpages so that users can backtrack the information.
3. Media
- Featured Image Reference: When referencing a featured image for your blog, please do not forget to follow our style guide. The size of the featured image should be no less than 1200×700 pixels.
- Screenshots Quality: To avoid blurry illustrations, remember to zoom in when taking a screenshot. Moreover, this ensures that the information is well represented in your images.
- Internal Image Dimensions: We encourage flexibility but largely prefer to use images of 1000×510 pixels in your content.
- Optimizing Image Size: Optimize your images to balanced dimensions between quality and file size for better web performance. Do not make them larger than 100 Kb.
- Embedding Heavy Graphics: For smoother interface and better showing, kindly use embed codes for infographics, GIFs, videos etc.
- Crediting External Images: All external images must have their credits properly cited.
