E-commerce giant Amazon has reduced its Amazon Prime Lite membership price from Rs.999 to Rs.799 per year while the price of its regular Prime service remains unchanged.
It is a piece of happy news for the people who are willing to purchase Amazon’s Lite membership.
Reason for price cut of Amazon Prime Lite :-
Amazon has reduced the price possibly because it maintains a decent price gap between its ads-supported subscription and normal Prime subscription to attract more people to buy the subscription to generate more profit. The price of the regular prime membership remains unchanged at Rs.299 for one month, Rs.599 for 3 months, and Rs.1499 for 1-year subscription.

Prime lite members get several benefits like- early access to Amazon lightning deals and deals of the day which are only for prime customers.
Prime lite members also get access to unlimited videos, movies, and TV shows from India and around the world. However, Prime Lite members do not get access to Amazon Prime music, prime readings, and Prime gaming services and they also pay a fee of Rs.175 for morning delivery as compared to Rs.50 for Prime members.
Notably, Prime Music is still absent, and Prime Video is limited to HD quality on your phone and other devices.
