Apple’s highly anticipated mixed reality headset is set to be released in the first months of the year 2024. The date is not confirmed yet but it is quite evident that at any point of time within the first few months of 2024, Apple would release it.

How is Apple planning to make its display highly advanced?

In 2027, the tech giant is planning to upgrade the Vision Pro with an RGB OLEDoS display. It would bring a great development as compared to the previous headset which had a colour filter in them.
RGB OLEDoS is a technology that produces light and color directly from nearby RGB sub-pixels on a single layer. So, this feature puts an end to the color filters. So, the headset is also going to get smarter and brighter with efficient power consumption at an affordable price which would surely be liked by every person.
Why Samsung is very important for advanced displays?
The only company currently offering RGB OLEDoS displays is Apple’s old rival, Samsung. Following the acquisition of OLED microdisplay maker eMagin, Samsung could become a supplier for Apple if the iPhone maker chooses to upgrade the display in its Vision Pro headset, according to reports. However, this is unusual, as the South Korean technology giant has long produced OLED displays used in Apple’s iPhone models. So, it is not a new thing for them, and Samsung is known for their high-quality display in their devices.
