OnePlus has just revealed its latest wireless earbuds, the OnePlus Buds 3. The OnePlus Buds 3 packs a 10.4mm driver and features three microphones, supporting AAC and SBC Bluetooth codecs. Delivering LHDC 5.0 Hi-Res audio output and equipped with Dynamic Bass technology, these wireless earphones provide an immersive 3D surround-space sound experience. Notably, they also offer customizable game sound effects and an impressive low latency of 94ms.
For active noise cancellation (ANC), users can choose from three levels on the OnePlus Buds 3: mild, moderate, and depth modes, providing ANC of 10 dB, 20 dB, and 49 dB, respectively. Additionally, there’s a transparency mode that enables users to stay aware of their surroundings. The earphones are rated IP55 for dust and splash resistance, adding durability to their features.
Each earbud of the OnePlus Buds 3 comes with a 58mAh battery, and the accompanying storage case has a 520mAh battery along with a USB Type-C charging port. Thanks to its fast-charging capabilities, just a 10-minute charge is claimed to provide up to 7 hours of music playback time.
When utilizing the active noise cancellation (ANC) feature, the earphones offer a battery life of up to 6.5 hours independently, and when combined with the case, it extends to a total of up to 28 hours. Without ANC activated, OnePlus asserts a longer battery life of up to 10 hours for the earphones alone, and with the case, it can go up to an impressive 44 hours on a single charge.
